Chilean band aggressively cultivates a

Far from a reputed hotbed of progressive music, Chile nonetheless joins other countries in South America spawning technically accomplished artists with a seemingly inherent knack for grand romanticism.
Latin cultural mores presumably stoke notable similarities between many South American bands and Italian counterparts a quarter of the world away. Exhibit A is Chilean symphonic act Aisles, whose imaginative, fantastical concept works have piqued interest internationally since 2003.
But the independent sextet led by creative mastermind Germán Vergara (guitars/vocals/keyboards) only recently has emphasized live performance beyond native shores. The group’s bold decision to tour Europe in late 2016 promoting new double-disc sci-fi opus Hawaii reportedly was well received. Why, you might rightfully ask, would a musical space opera carry the title Hawaii ?
